Description
2026 Germania Norns Mystery Box – 1 oz Silver BU (Random Variant)
Germania Mint .9999 Fine Silver · One of Four Ennobled Variants · Sealed Until Opened
You don't know which one you're getting — that's the point. The 2026 Norns Mystery Box contains one randomly allocated ennobled variant of the three-sisters coin, sealed in a tamper-evident wrap that cannot be opened without revealing its contents. Four variants exist across a total pool of 1,000 coins, ranging from 700 pieces down to just 10. Every box is a genuine pull — you could land the Common Black BU or the Ultra Rare Black Ruthenium with Gold. The coin inside depicts all three Norns — Urd, Werdanda, and Skuld — gathered at the roots of Yggdrasil in a single composition that exists nowhere else in the series.

The Mystery Box format
Germania Mint designed the Mystery Box around a simple premise: four ennobled variants of the same coin, distributed blind. Each box is sealed with a tamper-evident outer wrap engineered to be opened only once — it cannot be previewed, identified, or resealed. You don't know which variant is inside until the moment you open it. The four possible variants carry different rarity tiers, with the Black Ruthenium with Gold version representing the most scarce. This listing is for the Ruthenium with Silver variant — confirmed, numbered, and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.
The format is borrowed from the global mystery box phenomenon that has taken the collectibles world by storm — limited-edition figures, designer toys, pop-culture rarities — and brought into premium numismatics for the first time by Germania Mint.
Design
Obverse: All three Norns — Urd, Werdanda, and Skuld — are depicted together at the foot of Yggdrasil in a single unified composition. This is the only coin in the Norns series to show all three sisters at once; the individual Urd, Werdanda, and Skuld coins each tell their own separate story. Here, they appear as they exist in Norse mythology: together, inseparable, weaving the threads of every fate simultaneously. The ruthenium and silver ennobling gives the composition a deep, layered finish that brings the figures and the roots of the World Tree into sharp relief.
Reverse: The Germania Mint double-headed eagle, surrounded by Yggdrasil's roots and golden threads of fate — some broken — symbolizing both the influence of the past and the possibility of shaping the future. The same reverse that appears across the Norns series, here finished to match the obverse ennobling.

The Norns — Past, Present, Future
In Norse mythology, the Norns are three ancient seeresses of giant lineage who dwell at the roots of Yggdrasil, beside the sacred Well of Urd. Every day they spin the golden threads of life — from their weaving, human destinies are born, sometimes tangled, sometimes cut abruptly by the blades of their shears. Urd governs the past, Werdanda the present, and Skuld the future. Together they are the personification of time itself, and the balance of the entire universe depends on their work. The 2026 Norns series by Germania Mint is the first to render all three sisters as a unified image — the complete picture of fate, gathered in silver.

What condition is it in? Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) — mint-fresh with full original detail and finish intact.
